The Central Library of the RVS College of Nursing was established along with the genesis of the College in the year 2008.
The Central Library is functioning in the ground Floor with the total area of 3000 Sq.ft with the seating capacity of 100 students at a time.
From the Contribution of Management and the keen interest of our beloved Chairman and Managing Trustee, the collection of the library is being increasing steadily.
The College Library presently has about 4000 Books, 2100 Titles, 25 Journals (National & International) and Magazines and 100 CD's. Newspapers and Journals are subscribed for the benefit of students and teachers. The Library has a separate collection of general reference, fictions, Portfolios, newsletters, Journal reference, etc…
Salient Features- The library is kept open from 9a.m. to 5p.m. on all working days.
- Our library is completely computerized and automation of all its operations.
- "Books are for use and not for preservation". With this dictum our Library functions. Hence the Open Access System is followed.
- The college library has a collection of 4000 Volume of books with 2100 Titles.
- It subscribes to about …. International and National journals in various disciplines of Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences.
Separate sections for text books, reference books, Journals, Periodicals, Back Volumes, Project Reports etc.
